  1. There were critics. There was noise. And then, there was a clamor calling her “quitter of the year” when Simone Biles withdrew from the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

But, the 7x Olympic medalist was far from done. In March 2023, Biles met her coach Cecile Landi over a glass of margarita, and soon after, she followed up on her promise… She vaulted back into form at the 2023 US Core Hydration Classic. But then again, these make for a stellar storyline. We suggest you a better alternative—see it for yourself in the four-part Netflix documentary, Simone Biles Rising. The trailer is out already!

With Part-1 releasing on July 17, the documentary will follow Biles’ road to her “unfinished business”. And, as expected, after the trailer released on June 19, the conversation around Biles’ sudden departure reared its head again, but not for long. After the 9x US All-Around champion shared her turmoil surrounding the criticism, fans once again shut down the conjectures around the sneers.

As the trailer gave a peek at 2021, showing Biles walking out of the Ariake Gymnastics Center, many fans flocked to the comment section to pen their regard for the gymnast’s decision.
Simone Biles garnered acclaim as she is “going for another Olympic run”
One of her admirers added, “Good for her for pulling out when she didn’t feel right. People gave her a lot of cr*p for it too. What was she supposed to do, continue anyway and risk being permanently injured or even killed? These stunts that she does are insanely dangerous and have to be executed just right, or else she could end up paralyzed or something.”
Truly, Biles’ mental health struggles were akin to a physical injury. In the gymnast’s own words: “Say up until you’re 30 years old, you have your complete eyesight (then) one morning, you wake up, you can’t see sh*t, but people tell you to go on and do your daily job as if you still have your eyesight… You’d be lost, wouldn’t you? That’s the only thing I can relate it to. I have been doing gymnastics for 18 years. I woke up – lost it. How am I supposed to go on with my day?”
More so, after scoring 14.000 in the women’s balance beam category in Tokyo, Biles went on to perform her vault routine but when she landed, she knew, it was the case of twisties, and her first thought was, “I am going to be banned from America.” But, her supporters never failed to cheer her up.
Hence, calling out the social media cult, a fan mentioned, “Anyone who thinks she’s a quitter or betrayed our country has obviously never hurled themselves 15 feet in the air and performed a mind blowing skill. As much as the sport is physical, it’s also mental and if she felt something was off, that is seriously dangerous. She did what she needed to do to keep herself safe.”
Joining forces with Biles’ fandom, NFL safety Jonathan Owens can also be seen commending his wife in the trailer. “She bounced back and she really opened my eyes,” stated Owens.
All along, Simone Biles stood firm on the fact that “Sometimes you have to take the power back,” – and she did exactly that when she stepped on the mat in August 2023. Following this, she made sure to first clinch the 2023 US Core Hydration Classic title and then the 2023 Xfinity Gymnastics title. She then concluded her comeback year by bagging the 6th World All-Around title in Belgium.

The 82-time PGA Tour champion has broken many records, set many up, and tied a few. However, even with so many achievements to his name, what Tiger Woods has failed to match in his 27-year-long career is the ever-coveted 18 major win record set by the golf legend Jack Nicklaus.

Hailed by Woods as a dear friend and an inspiration, Nicklaus is undoubtedly one of the best golfers in the history of the sport, and his unbeatable major wins record stands testament to that. And even though Woods needs three more to just match that feat, he once claimed that he had “beat them all”! So what exactly did the PGA Tour star mean? Well, as it turns out, Woods sees records differently than laymen.

Soon after turning 40 in 2015, Tiger Woods sat down with the Time’s Lorne Rubenstein and shared various aspects of his personal and professional life. Now, just hours before his 48th birthday, 8 years after his sit-down, one boastful statement he made still draws massive attention—his declaration of beating “all” of Nicklaus’ records!

Did Tiger Woods lie about beating all of Jack Nicklaus’s records?

In the interview, when Rubenstein asked the then 40-year-old if he had beaten most of Jack Nicklaus’s records, he responded with a bold, “I beat them all. I beat them all.” Woods, of course, hasn’t really beaten all of the retired golfer’s records on paper. Although in many areas the 82-time PGA Tour pro has beaten the 83-year-old, besides his major wins, Woods has also never won the California Amateur Championship.

What, then, did the golf legend mean by his statement? Well, as he clarified moments later, the PGA Tour star didn’t perceive records as they’re written, as stats; instead, he looked at them based on age. Hence, when he said he beat all of Nicklaus’s records, he meant that he beat the age at which they were created.

He explained that the records he looked at were “the first time he [Jack Nicklaus] broke 40, the first time he broke 80, the first golf tournament he ever won, first time he ever won the state amateur, first time he won the U.S. Amateur, and the first time he won the U.S. Open.” They were all time and age-related, and Woods wanted to beat the age at which the “best of all time” had achieved those. And he did.

Undoubtedly, Woods would still want to beat Nicklaus’s 18 major wins record, and if he does do so, perhaps the ever-alive GOAT debate between the two may come to an end. After all, the soon-to-be 48-year-old would have both the most major wins and the most PGA Tour wins. But is that really a viable dream? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

On April 23, Athleta, the subsidiary/sister concern of the iconic brand Gap, welcomed the most decorated gymnast Simone Biles. Since then, the duo has been conveying potent musings through their collections. On a mission to motivate the community to be the best version of themselves, a recent collection is a mix of comfort and strength.

The 26-year-old had called it quits with Nike when she realized that her values didn’t align with the behemoth brand. Ending a six-year-long partnership, the Olympian maintained the reason that Nike’s atmosphere wasn’t conducive for women athletes. So, to solidify her position as an idol to young women, her partnership with Athleta made perfect sense by jumping ship. Now, the latest holiday collection has left fans in awe.

Captioning her Instagram post as “Holiday ‘fits coming in strong–and comfy”, the 26-year-old takes pride in her new milestone achievement. She added –“There’s no time like the present, so I’m reaching for my favorite Athleta looks for all my festive routines with my favorite people.”

Interestingly, the collection had athletic wears in beautiful colours. Doing justice to the comfy clothing line, the Olympian posed wearing each, looking fierce and beautiful. The defection from one brand to another was one of good fortune for her. After this, she had said of Athleta, “I think they stand for everything that I stand for.”

Even Athleta President Mary Beth Laughton had penned, “It is more than just a sports apparel sponsorship.” The statement asserted that the Olympian didn’t just pave a way for herself, but for the other women as well. The women-centric brand also provides financial assistance to the athletes whenever required.

Having said so, Simone Biles’ fans couldn’t keep calm after she released her newest collection photos. Without wasting a single minute, they jumped in to pour love.

Fans left stunned over the latest collection

One fan complimented her on fleek eyebrows besides her holiday fit, saying, “Absolutely stunning!! Flawless! And it’s The eyebrows for me!!” Further on, another Biles fan wrote, “Okay queeeen”, bowing down to her mighty presence.

When Ivy City Corporation wrote “Looking amazing”, another fan wrote “champ” with a fire and a black heart emoji. The cool co-ords left a fan in such frenzy that he wrote, “I’m definitely having the twisties for them,” with a breezy tone. When one fan had commented, “You’re just so beautiful!”, the others didn’t spot any lie in that. One fan also wrote, “Just stunning”.

The 2023 season was nothing short of a dream to the 7X Olympic medalist. Now, as a 2024 season starter, the 2024 Paris Olympic season awaits the gymnastic queen to put forth her prowess again.

Building your dream home from the ground up can be time-consuming and frustrating, even for Simone Biles.

People reported that the Olympic gold medalist posted an Instagram update on Nov. 28 about the hurdles she’s experiencing during the construction of the home she and her husband, Jonathan Owens, are building in Texas. In a series of Stories, she revealed that developers uncovered issues on the second day of the “trim walk.”

“Yesterday, I was here from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m……,” she wrote on a video moving across the home’s high ceilings. “I thought it was going to be a 30 minute thing bc I had no clue what I was walking into.”

In the following video, she appeared baffled at the changes. “Me confused as fck..” she captioned the image, according to People.

Although it remains unclear what happened during the six-hour construction day, Biles posted another photo Thursday and said she turned to her father and husband for support “bc I panicked!”

Still, she said, she’s made so much improvement and is so proud of herself. “jonathan will deal with the end result oops……..I hope I did it decently & thought of all the things,” Biles added.

Biles also photographed the patterned floor tile of what looks to be a bathroom, expressing frustration about severe yellow stains bordering the grout.

The Texas native’s home improvement report was more optimistic in a Nov. 17 update, where she shared a photo of one of the larger rooms on Instagram.

According to People, Biles flashed a broad smile as she held the keys to the house in one hand in the first frame of a carousel. She turned the shot upward and revealed the intricate base construction work for one of the room’s walls, roof, and enormous sliding doors.

In another photo, she showed a clearer view of the room, with smaller windows erected near the ceiling and larger glass sliding doors put up below.

She then displayed a photograph of a much smaller room with similar sliding doors leading out to a patio and a view of some foliage and a body of water. The carousel also featured a photo of her muddy construction boots next to a pair of black Prada slides.
